The House of Thēvdos is a British House of the sempiternal Order of the A∴A∴, which has operated under various names and guises throughout history. It is an external manifestation of the true and invisible Order, whose sole purpose is to guide the spiritual evolution of humanity. The methods applied are those of science and the aims are those of religion.

The name Θηβδοσ embodies the principles of Being and Doing in accordance with True Will. It expresses the unity of Spirit, Will and Love, and the continual refinement and evolution of consciousness.

The House exists in service to the A∴A∴ and to humanity, preserving the principles of the Order and encouraging the pursuit of Wisdom, Truth and Understanding.

The door remains open to all who sincerely seek to enter and devote themselves to the Great Work, but only those who are fit may arrive within. No oaths of secrecy or vows of obedience are required, nor is money ever requested or accepted. The work remains private, independent and founded upon honesty and integrity.
